Gaza

Just as the German people voted for Hitler, the Arabs of Gaza voted for Hamas, and just like the Germans, the Arabs must bear the consequences... We don't celebrate the death of those who may not have voted for Hamas, but we applaud Israel for finally taking the necessary steps against the Arab aggressors.

Hebron and the Tomb of the Israeli Government

Another house full of Jews has been desecrated by the Israeli government in a blatantly indefensible twist of perversion. WE at B"ZAYON think we have the capacity to understand quite a lot of the weirdness of the human race, even if we don't agree, but we can not comprehend the actions of the Israeli government. Why can't we live in the city where our foreparents are buried? Please comment if you know the answer...

Mumbai

It is not necessary to recount the events of the past few days, as it seems evident to us that all have heard about it. One wonders what the point of a blog post is at a time like this, and perhaps it is only a small consolation to the writer. However, this should spur us all to redouble our efforts, and to note a teaching of Reb Shlomo (Carlebach): How does somebody sitting here in Boston have any effect on the total evil half a world away? Shlomo teaches us that we have to overflow the evil created by these acts with good, and in this way we will have an effect. So, please, do an additional goodness today to help combat the forces of evil. And please remember all the victims of these attacks, especially the Chabad Rabbi and his wife, and their son who is now an orphan. Hashem Y'nkom Damam...

The Beauty of Every Day

Today is the yahrzeit (deathday?) of Reb Shlomo Carlebach, Zechuso Yagein Aleinu. Shlomo is and should be a inspiration to all good Jewboys and Jewgirls. So please, sing an extra song at Kabbalat Shabbat tonight, and learn a little more Chassidishe Torah. Secondly, we recieved a greater endorsement than we could give ourselves on the livejournal of the soon to be legendary Aaron Van Praag. He said:
It is a blog I have not entirely read yet as of this writing. But so far, I have not found anything with which on principle I must disagree, and a lot with which I can agree in part, if not necessarily and entirely in whole.

That echoes the thoughts of B"ZAYON about B"ZAYON almost exactly! Please give this good man some traffic!
To all of the Children of Israel, a far-out Sabbath!

Spread the Word!

There is soon to be a B'ZAYON circular, to be entitled the Kol Shmuel, or Voice of Samuel.

Segments will be available on the inter-web, beginning with this selection from the article "Samuelism: Revising Zion":
Samuelism does not purport to be a corporally revolutionary movement, though it does aspire to be one. Samuelism preaches that Thoreau’s description of Captain John Brown, in A Plea for Captain John Brown- “This man was an exception, for he did not set up even a political graven image between him and his God.”- ought to be applicable to all people. The essential goal of Samuelism is to bring about a change in consciousness whereby the need for revolution will be gone- the revolution will already have happened.

Samuelism is, of course, for those not in the know, a biblical form of Anarcho-Zionism.
A fellow fighter in this field has been found here- Please read his articles- they will be considered in years to come important early texts of the Samuelist movement!

A Holy Sin

It is said that anger is the greatest sin. But anger can accomplish great things. It seems to us that the concept of sin is blurry. So, we admit to a holy sin here- we are more angry than we have been in a very long time. There are things going on in this world that make us furious. But we must learn from the words of Sinai Tor SHLITA:

Question: Why did they destroy your house? Did they say it doesn't have building permits?

Sinai Tor: I don't know. They said it's not legal. But I think every one of their laws are not legal. Because we have the law of Hashem. He said to us that this is our land, that He gave it to us because of our fathers and mothers. This is what we believe. And all the laws and things they do to keep us far away from the land, those are the things we do not believe. They are nothing to us. They are like smoke.

The Law of Hashem is our only Law! Shabbat Shalom to all of Jah's Children.

Better late than never...

We didn't have time to share this torah before Shabbos, but we will share it now- this comes from the Me'eil Shmuel (Coat of Samuel), one of the only anarchist commentaries on the holy Bible.

The heilege Me'eil Shmuel brings our attention to the bizarre passage in Genesis 6 (this/last week's parsha, Bereshit) in which the "Sons of God" get really into the "daughters of man". Unlike all the wackos who read these verses as referring to aliens, or "fallen angels", the Ibn Ezra reads it as referring to the "sons of the judges" i.e. the power structure - Leviathan. The Me'eil Shmuel teaches us that these verses show us the first instances of abuse of power - and that they quickly creep into any power structure. A good week to all, and may Jah's blessings be upon you.

Things Keep Moving Along...

So, unsurprisingly, Labor has agreed to make a coalition with Birdie Livni. Now we must pray that Rav Ovadiah Yosef and Shas refuse to join this Axis of Evil. Sefardim will have to say slichot for more than just the month of Elul if they agree to this abomination...

Want to rant but...

I feel we must bring to light some of the atrocities of the past few days but this is keeping our spirits up. Jah be with us all, and may our pre-new year supplications (selichot) bring the change the prophet speaks of:
  • "Everybody's moving, if they 'ain't already there... Things are about to get interesting, right about now."
  • Love to all the Children of Jah...

    The Olmert Report

The last days of the Olmert Regime... It might be comforting, if only we could be sure that the next PM won't be even worse. Olmert, in what could be his last cabinet meeting as PM, said that
"The notion of a Greater Israel no longer exists, and anyone who still believes in it is deluding themselves"
As well, he called Judea and Samaria “a hill here or there.”
This man clearly is a member of the Bizarro-World-Revisionist Post-Zionist party. He also claimed that giving up the heart, physically, historically and spiritually, of the land of Israel, was not a security threat. God help us...

An Awesome Tu B'Av to you all!

Tonight and tomorrow are the holiday of Tu B'Av. It is unclear what exactly this holiday commemorates, as the Wikipedia article shows, but it is important to note that it was on this date that permission was given by the Romans to bury the members of Bar Kosiba's Rebellion who were massacred at Betar. Of course, Betar is also the name of the youth group founded by Jabo. Let us take this Tu B'Av as an opportunity to meditate on the meaning of these two great causes in Jewish history.

    Motor-Psycho Nightmare

A 30 year old father of two from "east" Jerusalem murdered at least 3 people and injured dozens of innocent Jews today, when he hijacked a bulldozer and rammed buses and cars along a busy Jerusalem street. It would be hard to conceive of so mundane a representative of the general Arab population in Israel than a "30 year old father of two". The villains who attack innocent Jews are not all hot-headed young men, as some might want you to believe. This attack shows how violence against Jews is not an ideal constrained to a small but vocal portion of Ishmaelite society. There are terroristic tendencies throughout Arab society, and we had better learn that our enemies are by far the majority.
    BASTA! ENOUGH!
Our leaders should start re-reading their Jabotinsky, not their "Peace, not Apartheid".

Not the Good Kind of Revisionism

The Boston Globe has once again cemented its position as the newspaper of the most liberal city on the East Coast. In the "Ideas" section this Sunday, under the guise of a book review, severe anti-Israel bias and at least one barefaced lie about Israel were published. The most obvious of these, of course, was the caption of the photo showing Israeli soldiers in 1948. The caption read:
Israeli soldiers during the 1948-1949 conflict. The Israelis enjoyed a decisive edge in military power and organization.
As any student of history knows, the "Israeli soldiers" at that time were mostly kibbutzniks, other settlers, and refugees from the Holocaust. They had to fight off Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, not to mention the Arabs of the British Mandate itself. Although one MIGHT be able to argue the idea that Israel was more organized, they were enormously out numbered, both in manpower and armaments. Tragically, this book was written by an Israeli. As Kahane taught us, the greatest enemy of the Jew is the Jew.

    60 Years of Excellence

Congratulations to the State of Israel on beating the odds and the Arabs and surviving for 60 years!
Like most of you, (we assume) B'ZAYON loves Israel. In fact, regardless of our current geographic affiliations, we view Israel as our real home (Hence the Zionism).
We just have problems with the state of Israel (pun intended). Us an' Israel is tight. Props to Israel for surviving for 60 years. Booyakasha. Respek.

    The People's Republic of Israel

We have witnessed, in the past few days, the brutal truth that Israel is not a truly free country. After reading, or attempting to read, the sordid tale of Mr. Olmert, one is prompted to ask: What the $@#% happened to freedom of speech?!? And then you remember - this is Israel! They don't have a Constitution, much less a Bill of Rights!

    A Merry May Day!

Although the Commie/Socialist roots of this Holiday are often emphasized, we, being Anarchists and as such the mortal enemies of any and all Communist (and therefore Authoritarian) government, must point out the Anarchist origin of International Worker's Day. The Haymarket Affair is generally considered the origin of May Day. The Haymarket Affair, of course, was the rally and ensuing riot for the eight hour work day that resulted in the deaths of seven police officers and an unknown number of civilians. Eight anarchists were tried for murder, four were put to death, and one committed suicide in prison. They became martyrs for the cause. B'ZAYON has hereby attempted to reclaim May Day from the Red Commie Bastards who have co-opted it. Workers of the World Disunite!

    In The Holy Land

One of the proud members of our Organization recently returned from his first trip to the ParentLand. He had this to say:
On the first day, we were eating lunch in the Negev. Our guard (Orthodox, of couse) had just finished eating, and started to bensch. One of my non-religious teachers proceded to point out the oddity of seing someone wearing tzitzis and bensching with a giant gun on his lap.
    She said "Isn't it weird?"
    I responded "Not at all!"
    Right On!!!

    Britain: The New France

France has had a reputation for antisemitism, and that still stands, but in our humble opinion, the Brits get the prize for "AntiJew Bastards of the Week".

The British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), requested from an Israeli ad agency to remove pictures of the Qumran Caves, on the grounds that they are trying to trick people "into thinking that Qumran Caves are located within the Green Line, while they are actually located in the Palestinian territories." The Israelis collapsed, as Allen Sherman put it, "just like a piece halvah", and removed the picture.

Moshe Feiglin, head of the Likud's Jewish Leadership faction, got it right:

"After all, everyone knows that the famous hidden 'Palestinian' scrolls were found in those caves. Not far away, in Masada, the heroic battle took place between the 'Palestinian' zealots and the Roman Legion. In addition, the Western Wall is of course nothing more than a remnant of the 'Palestinian' Holy Temple that was destroyed 2,000 years ago."

When you give a Terrorist fuel...

Two Jewish ole'im (immigrants) were murdered today at the Nachal Oz crossing into Philistia. The Nachal Oz crossing is used by Israel to give humanitarian aid and LOTS of fuel to the inhabitants of Gaza. How much sicker can it get, that they are launching mortars at the people who bring their people supplies?

    Frosty Poet

    This poem is so great...
    I advocate a semi-revolution.
The trouble with a total revolution
    (Ask any reputable Rosicrucian)
Is that it brings the same class up on top.
    Executives of skillful execution
Will therefore plan to go halfway and stop.
Yes, revolutions are the only salves,
But they're one thing that should be done in halves.

Doing our Part for Free Speech

We'd like to bring this movie, "Fitna", that is sure to provoke Mohammedan violence to yer attentions -
    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7d9_1206624103
    Arutz Sheva reports that
Fitna includes graphic footage of Moslem terror attacks around the world, including beheadings, disfigured bodies, destroyed buses, and the like. The scenes are accompanied by the relevant verses in the Koran, such as, "Prepare for them whatever force and cavalry ye are able of gathering to strike terror, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies."
As always, we don't necessarily endorse this movie.

I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever - Thomas Jefferson

The Revolution becomes more and more necessary in this Post-Zionist Israel, where a man was just put in jail for 6 months, for posing a referendum to the people of Israel asking them if they would prefer Sharon's Gaza plan, which expelled Jews from Gaza and Samaria, or an alternate plan to expel hostile Arabs from Israel. When the people voted to expel the Arabs who celebrate the death of yeshiva students, Yekutiel Ben Yacov was arrested for incitement to racism. None of the canvassers who informed us that 85% of Arabs in Israel approve of the Mercaz Harav Massacre were arrested for their celebration of murder. Let us pray for the day when there is real democracy and freedom in the land of the Jews, and add Yekutiel Ben Yacov to the list of those who have sacrificed to protect the Jewish people from those who have betrayed us.

    Separation of Citizen and State

Mr. Olmert has given Fatah 25 armored vehicles (and 25 more if these are "properly used"), so that the Ancient Palestinian Nation can be protected from the vicious, bloodthirsty Jews.
    As Reb Bob teaches us,
They'll stone ya when you're trying to be so good.
In better news, it seems that the people who actually care about Israel are getting out there again, as they marched against the memorial to murder in the holy city of Jerusalem.
Let us pray for the day when we can follow the example of Megillat Esther and rid the world of those who want to destroy us. Which, it turns out, is 85% of Arabs in Philistia.
May Purim supply us all with happiness for the whole year.

    Saturday, March 15, 2008

    Good Purim!

As we are taught by the מדרש משלי in פרשה ט, in the Messianic Age all the festivals will disappear, except for Purim (and Yom Kippur). The Talner Rebbe, Rabbi Isadore Twersky, זי''ע, taught at his Purim Se'udah in 1996, after a series of bus bombings in Israel, that as Purim will remain with the Jewish people forever, and I quote,
"So Purim is linked to the eternity of the Jewish People - which defies rational explanation, but belief in which is bolstered by empirical evidence. We are now in an עת צרה ; we have to use the energy of שמחת פורים to overcome the threat and to demonstrate once again:
שכל קוויך לא יבושו ולא יכלמו לנצח כל החוסים בך
    "--ע''כ דברי אדמו''ר זי''ע
May the זכות of אדמו''ר, the Talner Rebbe, help us reach the final redemption and aid us in achieving the destruction of Amalek.

Neturei Karta Defile The Memory of the Murdered

The madmen of Neturei Karta have used the massacre of eight innocent yeshiva students for their own perverse political gains.
Day and night over these past decades we have been pained and trying to prevent these terrible incidents in the camp of the Hebrews, because ever since the dispute and warring with the non-Jews began here in the Holy Land, they have been trying to avenge themselves with fury and wrath, and Jewish blood has been spilt like water all this time... Perhaps at such a bitter time as this, the time has come to take stock and to say to the Angel of Death, 'Stop!' Perhaps we have all been mistaken, perhaps we must recognize that our forefathers were correct during the 2,000 years of Exile in acting with the Gentiles by seeking only peace, mercy, and appeasement, and maybe we will then merit to have G-d sweeten our decree and prevent terrible calamities in the future among our brothers, the entire House of Israel.

We well know that by our perpetual acts of seeking peace and submission to the Gentiles, we have been suspected by many among the House of Israel as having aided those who murder [us], Heaven forbid - but what can we do that we are commanded by the Torah to look ahead; in order to prevent terrible things and to save the nation, we are marching in 'the path of Exile'... We wish you from the depths of our heart [Divine consolation] and may G-d strengthen your shattered hearts and may you know no more pain.
Effectively, they have the same opinion as Yossi Beilin - Don't fight back, it only makes them hate us more (as if that were possible).
I wish the Whole Wide World a Shabbat of true Shalom...

    Kind of Red

I know we have all read the news. 8 innocents dead. Although I wanted to put on bad punk rock upon hearing this news, I left on the good jazz (Miles Davis - Kind of Blue). We must use our anger to fix things. Let us use our anger like the man quoted in Arutz Sheva:
Asked by a Channel 2 TV reporter what weapon the Palestinian Authority terrorist had, Dadon said, "A Kalachnikov," and turning to the camera, he angrily added, "The Kalachnikov that you gave him, President Peres..."
    What more can be said?
Warning, if blood makes you squeamish, look at these pictures anyway. We must look in the ugly face of our enemy, spit in it, give it a black eye, a split lip, and a broken nose.

    Let's Un-Evacuate!

At this point in the history of Gaza, I believe it is appropriate to say "We told you so". The IDF has reentered Gaza, and it seems that there will only be more bloodshed. I remember going to Gaza before the expulsion, and seeing the stark contrast between the Jewish homes and the Arab homes. The Jews had houses that, although prefabricated and small, were clean and orderly. The Arabs lived in what can only be described as slums. Graffiti, dirt, and chicken wire. Take from this account what you will, but those Jewish houses and greenhouses filled with Israel's vegetables were destroyed and converted to slums and rocket pads. Mr. Sharon, peaceful in his coma, is lucky that he didn't see what has come of his folly. The Israeli Government has reverted the accomplishment that the Prophet speaks of :

He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,

Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.

    He's the neighborhood bully.

Let us hope that we can grow carrots where there were once Qassams...

    The Cartoonist Laureate of Israel

Dosh, the genius of the Israeli cartoon, is an inspiration to us all.

    Samson Blinded

This is a Israeli-written article, and the syntax is subpar, but the message is invaluable.
    Bureaucracy in the small land
    By Obadiah Shoher

Size worked against Israel. Huge United States provided its early pioneers with vast expanses of empty land to live free. By the time American bureaucracy has established control over the subjects, they grew used to freedom. Israel lacked that immense advantage of space. The early Israeli kibbutzniks were pioneers not inferior to American. The Israelis were tough and daring in peace and war.

But in minuscule Israel bureaucracy established itself quickly and bound citizens with legalese. The system usurped responsibility, but wasn’t responsible. The political echelon and the army bureaucratized and played according to rigid rules, and lost consistently. Now even soldiers are afraid to shoot Arabs, and there is no question of commanders performing independent operations. If the Yom Kippur war happened now, Ariel Sharon won’t violate the orders and break behind the Egyptian lines.

Talmudic tradition made Jews legal-minded. There is no way to limit bureaucratic expansion in the Jewish state. It must be Jewish, but not a state. The Bible teaches us that in the absence of righteous and rightful monarch, the best system of government is Shoftim: independent townships without legislative power, only with judges. In the modern political theory, that’s free market anarchism. It presumes minimalist legislation, diversified among jurisdictions. Sort of every town having its own speed limit, though in reality basic laws tend to converge among jurisdictions. Judea must adopt the biblical system of Shoftim.

Unless Jews break the state now, the state will break Jews.

    Check them out!

We Shall Rejoice in the Death of Murderers!

This past month or so, we have merited to see the death of some of the most evil people on this beautiful planet. One terrorist, Imad Mughniyeh, was killed in a befitting manner. Let's have a hand for the Mossad!
Robert Baer, a former CIA agent who spent years on his trail, said Mughniyeh was “probably the most intelligent, most capable operative we’ve ever run across”
Read more about what Israel is still doing correctly here.
Another, George Habash, died in a more tragic way, of natural causes. He was the king of airplane terrorism, and was mourned by "The Good Philistines" of the "PA".
